My name is Joseph Presley. I work out of Sarasota Florida where I am a technical support representative for my employer. I was introduced to the wonderful world of fractals in April of 1999 by my girlfriend Kristina Dryden. A few years later, Kristina and I married. When I am not at work or creating fractal art, I spend my time composing original music on my keyboard which is a Korg sequencing workstation. Basically, fractal art and music are most of my life. If you are interested in checking out my music, please visit my MUSIC PAGE where you can listen to a few of my MP3's. |

Fractals portray the true beauty of the chaos found within mathematics
as they exist every where around us. Most of the fractal imagery within this site was created using Ultra Fractal. These works can be found in the PHASE galleries and various other places throught the site. My work with UltraFractal would not be possible if it were not for the formula writers who make their fractal formulas, coloring algorithms, and transformations available for public use. The artwork found in the STAGE galleries was created using a 3D fractal program called Xeno Dream. |

First, I would like to thank my wife Kristina Presley who introduced me to fractal art. Kristina has been the biggest supporter of my work and it's hard for me to imagine life with either of them missing. I would like to acknowledge my very kind and knowledgable host, Ms. Setemkia (Fawn) Falling Tree. If you are interested in publishing your own fractal gallery, Email her. The Fractal Artist Network has room to grow. I would also like to thank Fredrick Slijkerman, the man who programmed Ultra Fractal, the most fabulous fractal plotter around. I would also like to thank Garth Thorton and Virginia Sterling, the creators of Xeno Dream. My 3D fractal works would not be possible without this wonderful program. I give special thanks to Damien Jones, Kerry Mitchell, Ron Barnett, Mark Townsend, and Samuel Monnier, who's UF formulas I gravitate to the most. And last but not least, I thank YOU for visiting THE FRACTAL ABYSS. |
